Opening the Gates to Academic Success

Innovative Teaching for Students with Dyslexia.

Our Approach

The Gates School was founded to serve students with a primary diagnosis of dyslexia. Research has shown that these students learn best through a multisensory, direct, and explicit instructional approach. Gates School provides an intensive, research-based learning atmosphere using the Orton-Gillingham approach that enables students to reach their full potential in a safe and supportive environment.

Mission Statement:

To provide an exceptional, evidence-based, multi-sensory education for students with dyslexia to open the gates to their academic potential in an environment that empowers students to develop a positive and socially conscious self-image.

Vision:

Our vision is to be recognized as one of the most successful multi-sensory educational leaders in the region for providing highly structured, student-centered education that addresses the academic and social challenges students with dyslexia experience.
